Ang mga lokal na ruta ng Bus, makikita na kulay asul sa mapa ng sistema, ay karaniwang patatakbuhin sa dalas na 30 hanggang 60-minuto. Patatakbuhin ang ilang ruta na mas madalas sa mga panahong madami ang sumasakay.

Route 12

Route 20

Ang Route 20 ay magiging isang bagong ruta na patatakbuhin kapag mga weekday na magkokonekta ng Downtown Sunnyvale sa Milpitas BART Station. Ang Route 20 ay patatakbuhin sa dalas na 15-minuto kapag panahon ng pag-commute at sa dalas na 30-minuto sa tanghaling-tapat.

Route 21

Pag-iisahin ng Route 21 ang kasalukuyang Route 35 at Route 32 at gagawing iisang Route na magkokonekta sa Stanford Shopping Center, San Antonio Transit Center, Mountain View Transit Center at Santa Clara Caltrain Station. Tuwing Linggo, patatakbuhin lamang ang serbisyo sa pagitan ng Stanford Shopping Center at Mountain View Transit Center.

Route 27

Ang Route 27, na kasalukuyang nagkokonekta ng Good Samaritan Hospital sa Kaiser San Jose, ay dudugtungan pakanluran para maikonekta ang Downtown Los Gastos at Wincherter Transit Center. Route 46

Route 46 is proposed to be discontinued. School-oriented service will continue as School Tripper Route 246 and Route 247.

 

 

Route 44/47

Routes 44 and 47 would operate as a bi-directional loop in Milpitas and would cover destinations currently served by Routes 46 and 47.

Route 48

Route 48 is proposed to be replaced by Route 27.

 

 

Route 49

Route 49 is proposed to be discontinued. Some portions of Route 49 would be replaced by Route 27.

 

 

Route 51

Route 51 would be a new route that would operate on weekdays and connect Moffett Field with West Valley College and would consist of portions of current Route 81 and current Route 53. Service would be hourly, but extra buses would be added to the Moffett Field - De Anza College segment during commute periods to achieve 30-minute frequency.

Afternoon school-oriented service to St. Francis High School that is currently part of Route 81 would be discontinued.

Route 53

Proposed routing change to cover the eastern portion of current Route 81 along Homestead instead of traveling south to West Valley College as the Route does today. Route 53 would stay on Homestead rather than make a deviation to Stevens Creek via Wolfe and Tantau as Route 81 does today. Weekday service would change from 60-minute frequency to 30-minute frequency.

Route 54

Route 54 would be discontinued due to low ridership. Some current Route 54 riders may be able to use Route 53, Route 55 or Rapid 523.

 

 

Route 55 and 55X

Proposed routing change to stay on Sunnyvale Avenue rather than serve Fair Oaks. Weekday frequency would be decreased during commute periods from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Sunday frequency would be improved from 40-45 minutes to 30 minutes.

The school-oriented Route 55X that provides more direct routing to North Sunnyvale and the Lakewood Neighborhood would be discontinued as a unique route. Additional bell-time service would remain on Route 55 to continue serving Fremont High School Students. The proposed routing change to Route 55 should make the service a more direct option for traveling to North Sunnyvale than the current Route 55.

Route 56

Route 56 would be a new route that would be comprised of portions of current Route 26 and current Route 82. It would connect the Lockheed Martin Transit Center with the Westgate area and Tamien Station.

Route 58

Route 58 is proposed to be discontinued. Some current riders may use Route 20, Route 26, Route 57 and Route 59.

 

 

Route 59

Route 59 would be a new line that would cover parts of current Route 60 and current Route 23. It would connect Old Ironsides Station with the Santa Clara Caltrain Station and the Valley Fair Transit Center. Route 59 would only operate between Baypointe Station and the Santa Clara Transit Center on weekends.

Route 65

Route 65 is proposed to be discontinued due to low ridership and because parallel transit routes would provide alternate options for transit riders along the Leigh corridor. Some current riders may use Route 61, which would operate at 15-minute frequency, or Route 63, which would operate at 30-minute frequency.

 

 

Route 71

Proposed routing change on the northern end to serve the Milpitas BART Station instead of the Great Mall Transit Center. Proposed routing change to extend southern end to serve Capitol Station instead of Eastridge Transit Center, as it does today. This extension covers a portion of Route 70 that is proposed to be shortened. Proposed decrease in frequency during weekday peak periods from 15 minutes to 30 minutes. Proposed increase in frequency on Sundays from 40-45 minutes to 30 minutes.

Local 80 would be a new route that would replace the Ohlone/Chynoweth - Almaden light rail line. Service would be operated along Chynoweth and Winfield. Service frequency on Route 80 would be 30 minutes.

Route 82 is proposed to be discontinued. Most segments of Route 82 would be replaced by Route 56, Route 66 and Route 68.

 

 

Route 84/85

Routes 84 and 85 would comprise a bi-directional loop that would serve destinations currently served by Route 14, Route 17 and Route 19.
