Proposed 2019 New Transit Service Plan | Express Bus Routes

 

Express routes, which are shown in green on the system map, are freeway/expressway-based services that operate during weekday commute periods, with the exception of Express 180 and Express 181 which operate all day. Routes that operate only in commute periods only make directional trips.

Changes are presented in comparison to current service.

Express 101

Express 101 is proposed to be discontinued due to low ridership.

Trips on Express 102 would be decreased from 7 trips to 5 trips in each direction.

Express 120

Express 120 currently travels into Alameda County to BART. The Draft 2019 New Transit Service Plan proposes to reallocate the Express 120 hours to services inside Santa Clara County when BART service is extended to the Milpitas and Berryessa Stations.

Proposed Discontinue

Express 121

Trips on Express 121 would be decreased from 9 trips to 6 trips in each direction.

Current Gilroy Transit Center - Lockheed Martin/Moffett Park

Express 122 is proposed to be discontinued due to low ridership. The Blue Line and Orange Line may be an alternative for some travelers.
